The Azm University Entrepreneurship Center organized an internal student entrepreneur competition as part of the national competition defined by #AUF (Agence Universitaire De La Francophonie) #DEEL program.
5 teams pitched their business ideas and 3 teams were selected for the semi-final stage. They are: FV Drinks, collaborative team between Azm University and Lebanese University (Marwa Loubani, Nour Masri [M1 Nutrition – LebUni], Jana Mehyieddine, Halima Hayek), BeautyCatcher (Judy Soufi, Deena Sabih, Abdelrahman Abdallah), and ParkApp (Mohammad Makkawi, Ahmad Bayyaa).
The jury consisted of the Dean of Faculty of Business Dr. Samer Nakhle, the Director of Entrepreneurship Center, Mr. Hani Mawlawi, competition faculty coordinators, Dr. Sam Nemer, Dr. Ahmad Omar, Mr. Ghassan Khouja and our guest speaker Mr. Rami Alameddine from Tripoli Entrepreneurs Club, who introduced to the audience the Startup Seeds 2019 program by #TEC. The semi-finalists will receive further training and mentoring before the final event in April. Only one team will be selected to represent Azm university in the national competition.
