Elevating Women in Entrepreneurship with Nadine Wilson Njeim

As women entrepreneurs face complex barriers limiting their ability to start-up and grow their business, Azm University organized on Friday, February 18th, 2022 a session that brought together an impressive explanation on Entrepreneurship with a focus on Women and empowerment.
This lecture was presented by Ms. Nadine Wilson Njeim, the former Miss Lebanon, current board member of LAU Innovate and who’s in the process of obtaining her master’s degree in Management from Harvard University.
Ms. Njeim’s interactive lecture highlighted the ways in which women have traditionally undersold their skills and develop new ways of speaking about ourselves. She empowered attendees from all career fields and levels. She took the audience through a journey of personal and professional development through both academic approaches and real-life experiences. Ms. Njeim focused on women’s doubts emphasized on the language which they use to communicate their confidence level.
This lecture was characterized by two things, one that it was fully booked, two, that men were highly engaged in the topic of women’s economic empowerment and entrepreneurship development, which proves that their interventions are in support of the promotion of gender equality.
Sessions like these have great potential in bringing out the talent that gets hidden behind the veil of sexism. We would like to express our deepest appreciation to Ms. Njeim for convening such a monumental lecture at Azm University.
