As part of the Continuous Education Program (CEP), during the months of February and March, #Azmuniversity will be holding a series of lectures by distinguished personalities whose careers and research achievements are noteworthy and relevant to a wide audience, including our Azm University students.
Azm University has launched this series of lectures with the purpose of raising funds for student scholarships. The series provide an opportunity for sharing and discussing new insights and networking with peers.
The lectures will be informative, fun, and offer a diagnosis and a prognosis, where possible.

2. The Journey of a Journalist with Dr. Sami Kleib

4. Unlocking the Power of Women Entrepreneurs with Nadine Wilson Njeim

Ms. Nadine Wilson Njeim, the former Miss Lebanon, current board member of LAU Innovate and who's in the process of obtaining her master's degree in Management from Harvard University, will be discussing the importance of Women involvement in the field of Entrepreneurship, and empowering women with entrepreneurial skills reach their full potential to create economic and social value for themselves, and the society.

5. Dealing with the Past - Post Conflict Lebanon with Selim Mawad

After the Lebanese war of 1975-1990 ended, the Sate and the Lebanese population accepted a conditional amnesty for all war crimes. Transitional justice was not even considered and as a result the warlords remained in power until the present day.
The lecture will focus on the repercussions of such an amnesty and how Lebanon missed a chance for sustainable peace. Selim Mawad, an expert in social psychology and political behavior, will present comparative case studies of transitional justice from Africa and Europe.
