On the occasion of Women's Day, Azm University organized an engaging panel discussion by outstanding women media personalities. The theme this year was “Her voice; Her story. Women in Media.” International Women's Day is our opportunity to celebrate women’s achievements, raise awareness against discrimination, and take action to drive gender parity. Ms. Grecia Antoun, news anchor and reporter at MTV Lebanon, moderated the discussion with three media personalities who are loved in the region.
- Ms. Rima Karaki: Talk show host and producer, media consultant, author and social activist.
-Ms. Eliane Hajj, founder and director of Medium media consultancy agency. She manages the media accounts of several local and international celebrities and international labels.
- Ms. Jessy Trad: Head of the Business News Department at MTV Lebanon, financial media consultant, and university lecturer
The panelists shared their success stories and experiences with our students, faculty members, instructors, and guests. They also discussed how women can be present and engaged in media, alongside the challenges women usually face. International Women’s Day is a global event which we celebrate annually to raise awareness on issues around gender equality and to shine a spotlight on the inspirational women who make positive contributions to our society.
