Discovering Roman Architecture & City in Tyre

ARCHIDES organized a cultural trip to Tyre on Saturday, November 4th 2017 to visit the archaeological Roman sites. Architecture students of first, second and third year have participated along with 2 of their instructors: Mr. Francesco Polesello and Mrs. Hala Abi Haydar. They were joined by the Dean of ARCHIDES, Dean Jamal Abed and Dr. Alia Fares, a certified tour guide, who elaborated on the architecture, culture and history of the site. After pausing for lunch, all participants went through the renovated streets of Tyre, to learn about regeneration incentives and activities in an old city quarter.
